The Glendale Educational Foundation (GEF) is pleased to announce it will receive a $50,000 contribution this year from the Glendale-based car dealership Pacific BMW and David L. Ho, Jr. increasing their yearly donation from $25,000 to $50,000. These funds will support GEF’s primary focus of visual and performing arts with “Music Matters,” supporting music programs for Glendale Unified School District (GUSD) secondary schools, and sustaining GEF’s commitment to support the GUSD Middle School Sports Program and the GUSD Elementary Robotics Program.
“We are extremely grateful and excited for Pacific BMW’s and David L. Ho, Jr.’s investment in our efforts to enrich and enhance the programs and projects of GUSD,” said Marvel Ford, GEF President. “I value the relationship we have built over the past 10 years. Pacific BMW and David L. Ho, Jr. continue to step up and support GEF and through the Foundation, every student of GUSD.”
Since 2009, Pacific BMW has donated to GEF a total of $277,500 to help advance GEF’s work for the students and community in Glendale. “Doing business in Glendale for nearly 40 years makes us appreciate the community, and want to do our part to support the important work that the Glendale Educational Foundation is doing for the schools,” said David L. Ho, Jr. owner of Pacific BMW.
