The Glendale Educational Foundation is seeking nominations for Diamond Awardees in the three areas of focus:
For Distinguished Achievement in the Arts
For Distinguished Achievement in Science and Technology
For Distinguished Achievement in Health & Fitness
(Awards can also be given for outstanding contributions that do not specifically fit these areas of focus.)
Awardees must be graduates of Glendale Unified high schools, and must be able to attend the Denim & Diamonds Gala on March 6, 2015 at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center.
The Glendale Educational Foundation serves to enrich and enhance the educational experience of Glendale Unified School District students and staff in the areas of Visual and Performing Arts, Health and Fitness, and Science and Technology. The current emphasis, “Imagine. Invent. Inspire.” will provide robotics kits to all schools in the district to further the Science & Technology curriculum.
