A grant from GEF funds student matinees at Antaeus Theatre, an award-winning theatre company dedicated to the classics. To support students’ understanding of the plays’ themes, supplemental materials and activities are provided, including study guides and post-show discussions with the actors.

 

This experience deepens students’ understanding of classical theatre, fosters cultural literacy and appreciation for the art form, and encourages them to consider how the plays’ themes relate to their own lives and to society more broadly.
